Project intends to use sea water desalination system where water is the Fuel, waste water to energy and solid Waste to Energy systems for the entire Banana Combined Development Project.
- The project will produce 12 Mw plus of clean extra power and over 5 million plus cubic meter of water daily to be used for:
- Domestic and industrial use
- Irrigation and agriculture
- The project apart from power and water generation will have various components. This will include:
- Power distribution network to the industrial park, new Banana City, all new cities, proposed commercial farms and subsistence farming. Industrial ports, fish port, cargo and passenger airport etc.
- Water distribution network in all the above mentionned facilities in Banana and surrounding.
- Domestic and industrial use.
- Irrigation and agriculture.
- The proposed development has taken into consideration provision of dedicated transmission power lines, substations, new water pipelines and water storage tanks.
Other benefits that will accrue are:
- Cheap salt
- Brickets for KCFFrtilizer
- Sygas for power generation
- Oxygen to be used in hospitals.
