Faso A’Mbambula Jean Marie, Born on September 25, 1950. Holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and African Culture and a License (equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree) in English from the Higher Pedagogical Institutes of Kikwit/Bandundu and Bukavu/South Kivu, respectively, in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

  • Primary school principal 1972-1974,
  • English teacher and Headmaster of a secondary school 1977-1983,
  • Language trainer for the US Peace Corps in the DRC 1983-1985,
  • Managing Director of Indian private companies in Kinshasa 1986-1991,
  • General Manager of the N'sele Tourist Site in Kinshasa and Head of Department at the Ministry of Tourism 1991-2010,
  • Involved in development initiatives, notably the construction project of the deep-water port of Banana within the American firm The Harrison International Group LLC, and Co-founder of Church Farm Africa, Savings and Credit Cooperative Society CFA SACCOS Sarl, which oversees approximately 3,000,000 hectares of arable land and supports 3,000 rural farmers in the DRC, and several other development initiatives in the water and electricity sectors.
