The proposed facilities will comprise of the following developments:
- An industrial park for both mining and agricultural products with its own technical industrial plants that will also include other private owned industries and components manufacturers
- Construction of industrial park within the Banana port Special Economic Zone for the project including its own heavy smelting industries, component manufacturing and assembly plants and also establish a private industrial zone.
- Manufacturing and Processing of industrial minerals to finished products for steel, copper cathodes, aluminum, clinker, Cement, etc.
- Heavy Machinery industries and components manufacturing e.g. Ship building, Motor Vehicle assembly industries, Electronics etc.
Seawater desalination will be able to supply cheap power and water for industrial use and it’s expected that we when fully functional will produce over 50 million tons yearly.
The project will procure 18 smelting processing plants as per attached list and will be supplied with raw materials from the mining sites to be developed by the project in the Kongo Central province. All minerals mined will be shipped to the industrial park for processing to smelters and to other private companies but only to smelted within the industrial park.
